Extras for Virtual Visits

As a service to the schools we visit, we offer a number of items that we can post to you in advance.

These items are also available for visits in person, but aside from Passover items, they are not usually needed. For visits in person, we offer different items, such as challah bread and grape juice.)

These extras serve two purposes:

  1. You can set up an active workshop in the classroom. This can include lighting your own (LED) Shabbat candles along with Rabbi Zvi, or setting up your own seder plate.
  2. The items remain with you after the visit, so that you can review material or continue to teach the topic, or for your use in future lessons with other students.

Depending on which purpose is most important to you, there are a variety of options available. So for example, we have proper Shabbat candlesticks with upright candles, but we also offer inexpensive sets of LED tea candles, so that a number of classes can all have their own sets without the cost being too high. Similarly, we offer both regular and low-budget items for kiddush cups and challah covers. A guide to help you decide what items you need:
guide_to_extras.pdf.

On this page you will find the current costs of the extras we offer for virtual workshops.
There will also be a charge for postage and packing.

Please note that these items are available only if you book a visit — this is not a retail shop. We offer extras as a service to schools who book a visit, and seek to keep costs as low as possible, with minimal mark-up to cover our overheads. We have worked hard to find items that are affordable for you.

The prices below are subject to change, depending on our own costs of sourcing items. Please also understand that although we have done our best to depict items accurately, some objects may vary in appearance.

Because we are keeping costs low for schools, we cannot afford to accept returns or offer refunds if you change your mind after your items have been posted.

We will advise you on which items will be most helpful for you.
